Meet Dr. Dorio

I am a graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I went on to complete my internship and residency training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine (now Rowan University). After residency, I continued my training at the Rutgers University Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship Program.

I have treated a diverse population of adults, from individuals in state prison to civilly committed, chronically mentally ill patients. I have worked collaboratively to provide care to adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders. I have also provided treatment to individuals who were simply looking for relief from problems such as feeling worried or sad, internal conflicts, or those having difficulties in relationships, as examples. It is my goal to work with my patients to develop a plan of treatment that is agreeable to both of us and that instills confidence and optimism in you.

Diagnoses are a part of treatment, but it is important that my patients understand that a diagnosis is frequently just a label. We will work together and look beyond this label in order to help you become a healthier version of yourself.

For clinical services, please feel free to contact me by telephone or by email. Please keep in mind that e-mail is not a secure form of communication; kindly limit the information you provide to your telephone number, best call-back time, and any referring party. A brief telephone consultation will help us get started in providing you the best possible care.

My forensic services are available to the public and private sector for criminal and civil cases. Please contact me by telephone to discuss the details of your case at (908) 458-6670.
